;)Claws making soft clicking nosies along the cracked pavement as the border collie streaked along he crowds, the eartly morning sunlight gleaming down on her ebony and ivory pelt, her nosie to the air she was used to the sound of the baker rattling the tins to the rats, normally Danni would head this way, but today this dog had something diffrent in mind, keeping her ivory point to the ground she moved past the bakers into a alley way, padding her way through the trass, with a spring she jumped onto a garbadge bin and smelling the swee smell of the butchers meat wafting from the window next to her. Pushing it open with her nosie Danni was silent as an owl as she climed through, the butcher was in the front indow talking to a customer while this was happening. The atmosphere in the kitchen made Dannis mouth water. Creeping with her fit bodice along the ground she went past the meat and to the huge steaks, one looked like half a bull, grasping it with her fangs and pulling to to theground, moving easily up and out of the window and juping down from the window sill. Dragging it to a safe destanation she pulled the huge lump of juciey meat into the shade of a tree and started chewing on the fresh meat that melted into the feas mouth, she had never had something that atsed so great since... when she had been controled! Snapping back to reality she snapped (and nearly grabbed) the jack russle that was edging a bit to close to her dinner. When she finished the meat bit Danni chewed the bone, it made her motuh feel strong. Watching the life of the market around her, though no one dared to travel near her, he had already warned enough off. But she guessed the life of a street dog was kinda lonley, but other then that she couldn't ask for anythng better!

Big's hunger was... Quenched. He could last another day without a big meal - 1 huge meal could last him 1 week. It was how he ran, it was almost wolf-like, but he preferred it to having 1 tiny, unsatisfying meal a day. He drank a lot, and he got used to not eating often - he managed it because of his sheer size. Because of it, he had a slower than average metabolism, and so could manage without food for longer. And he loved hunting - he wasn't the best at it, but he was passable. He could take on a bull alone and have a chance at winning, but he wasn't suicidal. Old, plump females were the easiest - not defended as much, made less noise, the farmers didn't care as much - and more fat and meat than stringy sinew. Ok, so the sweet farm collie refused to tuck in, it was her job to care for them, but they had chats. She understood he needed to eat, and he ate the ones that wouldn't benefit the herd. They had an agreement. But he was lonely, in a terra all by himself. Granted, he had had it for a day, less than that - five or six hours, most of them asleep, but he had sorted out a passable dog bed and a... It was almost a prison, really. Put a guard there and it would be a formidable area to keep enemies, but it would be useful for other things as well. Shelter, for one thing, for Big - as his name suggested, he was of too much a substantial size to fit in the 'dog bed'. Oh, he could sit in it, but not lay down in it. Overall, his terra was... Serviceable. Adequate. Actually quite nice - in good condition, abandoned, yet quite cold. It had, aside from the amenities already mentioned, four long wooden poles. Every teething puppy's joy! And also, if 2 dogs grabbed one pole by either end, it could make a formidable weapon, if the right momentum was achieved. Something greyhounds and light, fast breeds could do to inflict serious damage on attackers! Generally they were spies, but a few were good fighters. Not much protection, that was their problem. Not like Big.
Big was huge, 100cm at the shoulder at least. He had a huge body as well, muscular and strong, strangely cuddly. A thicker-than-thick coat, too, cream with brown spots and patches over it. He was formidable, but even his bark was soft, let alone his bite! He wasn't timid, by no means, but he protected anyone who he thought needed it, and was a bit of a family man. Which was why he was out, looking for dogs to be in his pack. Currently comprising of one Alpha male. He needed some females - not an Alpha female just yet, but a female. He had nothing to do with the choosing of the Alpha female, anyway - the first one to claim it and want to be his lifelong mate to boot. Of course, that was not necessarily true - he had choice in who to choose to be his mate, but the Alpha female was usually it, but not all the time. he dreamed of filling his terra soon, humble as it was - it could hold probably 10 adult dogs, and several puppies - however, he would have no rule-breaking. All dogs knew that they must ask the Alpha's permisson to breed, and he would seldom give it. He would not kill the pups. by no means; he wouldn't be able to bring himself to do that, it wasn't their fault, not at all - but the adult concerned would be made Omega, made to hunt for him so the risk was not so high. He wouldn't enjoy getting shot.
Seeing a lone female border collie eating a chunk of meat, his mouth salivered as it usually did at the sight of food. Well, his mouth was always a bit... Slobbery, but you know what I mean. Seeing a tiny Jack Russel dart away (or at least, it seemed tiny to Big), he padded softly towards the female, who had finished her meat was was now gnawing on bone. Ah, it wasn't good, gnawing on bones - they could splinter and pierce a dog's throat, killing them unless a human vet came. Vets. Ugh! He had been to the vets to be wormed, vaccinated, the usual things somestic dogs had. But no more! He was free as a bird! Well, apart from the flying thing.
"Hello, miss. My name is Big. Your's may be...?"
Okay, so his name wasn't original, but he had always been called Big. Maybe as an adjective more than a proper noun, but he didn't care. Big suited him. It fitted. He didn't want some fancy-pants proper name like Ratatouille or Hitsigushi Something-or-another. Big captured the male dog in one word. What more did you need?

;)Long pink tongue rolled out of her mouth as a new smell drifted across her black point of a nose alerted Danni climbed to her paws and then locked her blue orbs onto the BIG dog, watching him intently his name was Big, how Ironic, but as polite as I am I grin and say "My name is Danni, not really short for anything" normally dogs asked her about was her name short for anything but no, because it was one none of there business and two she would of just walked off anyway. Danni if she stayed at her trained house she was the 'pick' of the litter she would of went into the show ring with the jumps, sure she could jump high but if a trainer tried to pull one over her he would loose more then his dignity. Sure she looked like a purebred but she had the attitude of a street mutt when it came to hunting. She hated sharing but she could and would do a good deed, like yourself, could use with a meal, right? Well my girl Danni has the skills to slip into anywhere, she normally favored the bakers because he always had some meat or cupcakes on the counter. But there were risks I mean the baker he would kill you if he caught the sight of you or Danni. She had built up a reputation in the city though it sucked to be sleeping in a cardboard box all the time, but she had gotten use to the bitting cold wind some nights. The sun rolled out and Danni looking like a jail bird in the dim sunlight. her orbs were an unusual colour in her breed, blue eyes for a border collie. She had never met another one like herself, or another one like you, Danni guessed big could take on a man and win, she tried to keep away from those creatures, they were only good for providing the food and scratching behind your ears when you couldn't reach.
Danni Spoke up This is getting to risky, I mean the dog hunters are out and about now, do you have anywhere safer.. she could of ended it as 'I have some but they are small to fit in, but that was rude and she kinda guessed that her statement was rude too, she didn't wan to scare him off, for she didn't have good 'people' skills, in her old pack all the words you needed to know was 'move' 'mine' and 'drop the piece of meat! Some dogs are starving over here!' She guessed she got her politeness from her mother for she taught her all the words in her vocabulary, though eh hadn't seen her mother for awhile, but that was life.

Grinning at the female through his big dark brown eyes, the mountain dog mix gazed at the moorland herder. They were different, sure. Different breeds, different genders, and Danni was a more elegant name. A real name, in fact. More like one a human would give a dog they cared about, or a mother give her daughter one of the prettiest names she could think of. Big could sometimes sound strange to some if they had never seen the alpha male themselves, but once they saw him they understood really quickly exactly why the dog called himself that. Looking into the female's eyes, he noticed they were blue - odd, only puppies had blue eyes. His ears perked up a tiny bit as he could almost here Danni thinking over. Forget humans, he could take on a full-grown bull at the ranch and win! He had to hunt there, it was the only place where he could satisfy his hunger. Once a week... But it was so dangerous. He hadn't got shot yet, he and the border collie there had an understanding. She would point out which cattle to kill. He would satisfy his hunger. It was a fair deal.
"Well, I'm the Alpha of the old hotel - enough room for two, I'm guessing." Winking at her and chuckling again, he didn't feel the slight breeze in the air. His coat was too thick, muscles too deep to feel anything - he could tell when it was snowing, but he was built for the snow and ice! If it wasn't for his Mastiff blood, which made him a pretty formidable fighter, he would be sweeter-than-sweet and never would of run away. As it was, that wink wasn't flirtacious, he was charming in a whole other way. In an, ever ever after, Prince Charming sort of way. Looking about for any other dogs, he wagged his tail in the sunlight that beamed on his cream and brown back. Anyone could tell he was part St Bernard, but not many could tell that he was also Pyrenean Mountain dog, and that he had a teensy but of Mastiff blood in him. Three breeds, all big. But not all bad.

;)Smiling lightly to his joke she then nodded and said "What about three? I hear that I take up lot of space" joking she laughed and waged her tail, her tongue hanging out of her multi-coloured skull, shaking and trying to let the icy cold wind bite away from her, she had a thick coat but she guessed that coats only went so far, for hers was long and shaggy, but not classified as thick. She was built for the show ring and all of the breeding and clipping of coats the lost there touch and the fur was not as thick as some wild dogs where. Icy blue orbs watched a human tau was picking up trash with a long stick that has a sharp point at the end and it had a small dog trailing behind her, it was smaller then Danni and Big smaller for a normal hight ed dog, then she noticed that it had a brace of! What had those humans done to it?! Then she noticed the love the dog Had in its orb when it looked at the man with a stick, she guessed he did save him, but she would hate to loose any of her legs, and she would not be bothered to let a human touch her with its technology, she had to admit she was frightened of some, especially ones that had the tall smelly boots on and had the death symbol on here shoulder. Looking back to Big she was in control of her mind again. Sitting down she looked up to Big, her paws where tired from the sprinting along the burning tar, but now it had cooled and was almost frosted, shaking her fur she stood up again and watched him, intently, he was one interesting character and Danni being modest was interesting herself, normally pups grew out and had brown eyes, but some where lucky and kept the big icy cold star of the blue. Hers were like ice, cold and hardy, but her iris was warm and welcoming to dogs she liked and welcomed into her friendship group. Hers looked friendly at the moment, she felt safe with this big guy he seemed like a nice guy, but she knew now wasn't really the place to find out.

Big, too, had noticed the small dog with a wheeled contraption on him, enabling him to move. tooling his head to one side slightly, he felt a slight twinge of urgency in his instincts, that had been growing stronger as days went by, and had reached a climax at the declaration of war. His side had healed from the last (disastrous) hunt he had been on - the collie had given him a sympathetic look and given him some of her kibble, and licked his side clean. The huge male had felt a slightly lustful feeling bubble up in his chest - she was a pretty thing - but he hadn't shown it. He was completely in control at all times. He wanted, needed, some females in his terra, and this one had no home. He was inviting several females to his terra now, two adults and a puppy - the streets were even more dangerous, now that the war was on. He couldn't leave the puppy, and he couldn't leave Danni - the other female was a wolf, but a border collie... Who knows what could happen to her? "Well... Maybe you could come back with me?" Hmmm. Dirtier than he intended, but he could live. Shaking his head, he stood up from his sitting position. Night was drawing in - he should head home soon. Whether he had a pretty border collie with striking blue eyes at his side was besides the point...

Sneezing at the dust mites niggling at her nostrol she listened and nodded her smile was greatful and she answered "Thanks that would be great" Normally she would dis-regard the coment to being a collie and a pampered dog but truth be told she was never pampered, or cared for. She was raised to think for herself and to hunt and kill for herself but she was sure that she could learn to share, I mean she learnt to sit, how hard would it be to share? Watching him with shinning orbs she had a grin planted upon her patched skull, her blue orbs shinning like ice in the sunlight as each delecate drop fell towards the earth that was so thinly layered with snow, sapping back from dreams with snow ad thin lined things Danni locked her orbs onto his bulk, she was surprised why she wasn't scared of him, but mostly she was happy to be with company. Though it had been awhile and Danni didn't have very good people skills.
OOC - Sorry! Its horrible!
