What the heck is wrong with those people? Why...you know what...I think we should just come to grips with the fact that many people in this world are idiots and enjoy doing stupid things like that.

Yeah. I recently came across a puppymillers site(lost the link now) who bragged all 27(!) of thier dogs were champions. The registry they used, however, as some fake registry where all you need to enter a dog is his picture and a DNA test. (both can be faked painfully easy) The registry had a "Teddy Roosevelt Terrier" ring of the show to enter dogs in, yet the owner of the puppymiller site claimed this idiotic registry is somehow better then the UKC/AKC.
Lessoned learned: People are indeed idiots. The sad part is other people actually buy puppies from them.

I guess some people don't want to do the research because they'd hate to find out that the dog isn't from a family of champions. Some people want to believe anything, it seems.
