well, after having eaten, what else was there for a dog to do than just take a little nap? Not that I had anything better to do, or anyone to talk to. A loner, I've been able to wander this crowded human-infested place without being noticed for a few years. But I wasn't the sort that really cared on whether or not I had someone to talk to. I was friendly and kind, but when I wanted to be I could be a lean, mean, flesh-shredding machine. But that was just how I was. And besides, I liked the thrill of adventure, having a little fun teasing a few humans. They're idiotic creatures, easy to run from, and easy to steal from, in most cases anyway. I've seen a few dogs netted and thrown into the back of some monster the humans run. I knew where that dog was headed anyway. 'The Place', no doubt. I wonder, exactly how many dogs do those two-legged creatures kill anyway? Well, I know for darn sure they ain't gonna get me. I'm street smart, I know my way around this place pretty well, if I do say so myself. I find my 'home', nothing more than a large box in the alley way. I step inside its confines, circle a few times, and lay down, resting my head upon my paws. My merle fur amtted and durty, I was once a companion t some humans, but they abandoned me in this same exact place, left me for dead or caught. I promised never to move in with some humans again. I may be purebred, but I felt like a mutt, and liked it. I wasn't the high-soceity, prissy female. I loved getting down adn dirty, I loved mud, and I loved causing trouble, making things harder for the two-legged cretures, anyway. Sure, I've had my share of things thrown at me, but after a few times of getting hit by a shoe or pan, I've learned the average length they can throw things at, and managed to pester them from that length of a good few yards. I'ce chased my fair share of cats up trees, caught and killed a few squirrels here and there. You couldn't say I can't take care of myself..... I lay here, and sigh contentedly, just waiting for the night to creep up, and have another day pass by as they usually do. A struggle for food and survival. but what a thrill! So, not really expecting muc anything else to happen, I lay there, listening to the usual cars, honks, crows, ect. going on around me. Another day, and it has yet to pass by.....

I haven't found any food yet, it seems the other mongrels have gotten to it first. Hey, a pizza crust! And it has a few pieces of bacon still stuck to it! Mullian put his paw on he crust and clamped his jaws don on the other end, before ripping and tearing at it. The crust ripped apart, and Mullian feasted on both pieces with veal. Food was scarce lately. Probably because of all the new dogs around. His tongue lolled out of his mouth and wobbled while he panted. One of those hewmits had tried to get a collar on him, but Mullian had mauled their hands. They ran away after that. Mullian stood back up, and trotted off down an alleyway. He had not yet found a home, and was also looking for a few females. Perhaps he could overrun this city with his own blood! A box was in front of the border collie, and inside it was another animal. Mullian inched towards it, and growled deep in his throat. Friend or foe? "Greetings, strange creature," he snarled, making sure his voice was menacing. "Who are you, and do you own this... er..." his voice trailed off as Mullian realized it was to a vixen he was speaking. "Excuse me, I am Mullian. I did not realize you were another dog. What is your name?" he spoke in a gentler tone. This whole thing had probably made him look ridiculous, but that didn't matter now.

Tyra watched with enthusiasm, it was her first day alone in the world….She smiled to herself and let her tongue loll out the side of her maw, she sat down and panted for a moment, watching the other two dogs. One was a male, she didn’t show much interest in him, she had had her fair share of males she can tell you! She yapped lightly for attention, she was lonely, the excitement of being away from her home was not lost but, well, she was a pack animal and pack animals desired the company of other such creatures, right? Tyra She spoke to herself silently, stretching her paws out in front of her, she lowered her belly to the ground, still panting in the heat. It was so nice to use her real name, the one her mother had given her at birth, not that stupid human name, I mean really? She was no Lady so why call her one? Humans were weird, they smelt funny but, she had to admit, their company was something that she craved, well not anymore, but she had done once…. The Boarder Collie snapped at the other female, Tyra felt her shackles rise but stayed where she was, somehow she felt that she could be of help to the female if…..Ahaha, typical male! She settled back down again as the Dog seemed to realise a mistake had been made, she wagged her tail furiously in amusement, yapped again and wriggled forwards a little, she wanted to be noticed but not by the male….

Well, joy. After a good, solid meal of cooked beef, Rala had discovered she was pretty damn good at stealing. Only by stealth, however. She was not the fastest dog ever invented, and she knew it. However, she was quick in short bursts and had extremely finely tuned eyes, nose and ears - she was bred to be able to find anything quickly and run back quickly. And to swim. Yup, her breed was one of the few who really enjoyed swimming and were good at it. But there was no need to be able to swim right now - maybe sometime in the future, if a huge diabolical flood came alone, and let's face it, how likely was that? Looking around the dirty, nearly abandoned street, she saw three dogs - two female, one male. Smirking as the dog seemed to have made an error at some way, she saw a female trying to avoid the male while talking to the female... Hmm. Interesting. Making her way forwards cautiously, her head was lowered and her hackles were visible as she crept along the street, looking a force to be reckoned with. Females and males are equal in the canine world, unlike the equine world - and that's how it would stay.
"Well, I guess I'm not the only purebreed here."
She flashed a quick look of contempt at her purebreed status to the other dogs, and didn't give away the fact that the alsatian was creeping towards them. Rala could defend herself easily, she had sharp teeth and a lot of energy after her huge meal - but hey, she didn't know when her next one would be. Listening carefully for any dog-catchers, she made sure she wasn't in danger. Hey, she wouldn't warn these guys if they were too slow to realise they were in danger at any point!

It was a typical day.... The sky was darkening, but as usual you couldn't see a single star in the sky. All the human creations blocked out the amazing sight. I had made a trip or two to the countryside and liked it there. The light of the stars and the moon was silver and bathes everything it is pure light. But here, where the city lights were always in one's eyes, it was hard to even make out anything in the sky except the moon. My glacier blue eyes gleamed as they stared up at the silver sphere in the sky. it was a lovely thing, it was..... I sighed, finally begining to feel a bit lonely.... But I was used to it. That was life, right? You had to take what life threw at you, and you could only do your best to avoid letting it get the best of you. But that was often hard sometimes. but I was fortunate enough to have made it all these few years without getting hit by a truck or anything whiel crossing a street. I've used those places where humans cross, and if you walk just behind one of them, you're rather safe because all the two-leggeds think you belong to them. And when you're across you just trot off like you were one of them. but I'm not as stupid and dull and thick, so I'm better! Ears flip forward as a growl comes to be heard. the fur along my spine begins to rise. you think I'll let you talk to me like that? I watch the black and white dog before me. If I didn't know any better, I'd say he had border collie in his veins. And when he realizes I'm a female, I let the fur lay flat and come out from my "shelter", grinning. What a nice fellow you are! I'm Nakita. Nice to meet you, Mullian. I chuckle lightly, not trying to be all that rude. I was friendly, but I could give you a run for your money if I wanted to. And soon, I hear another yap and I see a female. she was interesting, but as I watch her wiggle about, her tail wagging about, I move past the male, making sure to let him know my small bit of interest in him by brushing my fur aginst his own. I move toward the female and wag my own tail and yap back happily. it was nice to meet a female like this one! Hey! I'm Nakita, but you probably already heard that. Who are you? Don't believe I've seen you around..... I glance back at Mullian, a twinkle of flirtatiousness seen within their crystal surface. i studied him and was interested, but turned back to the female. I liked the male and all, but a female was always welcome by me! And yet another dog approaches, and I see it's female, too. I smile as she approaches, my tail thunkping the ground once in greeting. Small world.... That's all I had to say to her... Looking form the male to the eager female, to the newcoming female, I feel rather content being with other dogs. Perhaps I might be able to fit into a pack of some sort...... with Mullian..... so I sit before the first female to arrive, and wait for words to be passed again.

Mullian was shocked to see how many girls were appearing all over the place. Did he really have such animal magnetism? Then again, noticing one of them was giving herself airs, probably not. The border collie gave an apologetic grin to the first vixen, and slunk out of the way, watching the females interact with bright eyes. Females never ceased to be fascinating for Mullian. And he didn't let that brush and glance go unnoticed, either.

This was getting a little crowded... But I didn't mind it all that much, really. Especially with the presence of a male... I gave him yet another glance, eyes shining with deep interest. I let her eyes study his frame. He was quite the looker, strong and handsome... And it was somewhat tempting for me, but I didn't let it get into my heard. For all I knew he might already have a mate. Why get myself into unneccessary trouble? But on the other hand..... A good tussle wouldn't hurt, would it? Besides, I learned that if you like something, you gota work for it. So why not go for such a perfect oppertunity??? What was the harm in giving Mullian a little something to eterntain him? Ears twitch. This was defeinitely entertaining, but there was a tug on my gut that wanted me to see more... I look to the female who was so eager to be noticed. I liked her. I had decided that much, to be honest. I cast a glance to the other female.... Hm.... Wasn't sure about this first impression.... I stand up and give myself a good shake. finally, I decide sitting around was getting boring. Besides, I wanted to see if this handsome Mullian might follow me to a place more....secluded? I grin at him playfully, then turn back to the eager female. Well, hate to cut this entertaining meeting short but I've got some..... exploring to do... I hope we all meet again, and in the near future. Besides, nothing better than a nightly...run, right? I make sure that as I walk back toward Mullian to go to this Bay Shore place I was curious about, I halt and put my muzzle into his ear. If you don't have anything better to do, maybe you'd like to make meeting me somewhere more unpopulated in the VERY near future? I made sure to whisper, despite the fact the others might hear. But it was more, interesteing..... I then brush past him, wag my tail a single time, and trot off toard the bay shore, wondering if he might get my hint.....
