Soft steps were heard from a distance as a ebony figure appeared from the shadows. Her eyes were troubled and showed a hint of fear as her eyes constantly darted here and there. The rusty stench was caught in her cold, wet nostrils as rotten cars were scattered around the whole corner. To speak the truth, she had never encountered an area like this before. probably because her 'family' of two legged never allowed her to step into the world of danger. Aiyana was a medium sized dog with thin bones, her body however, was emaciated. Since she had accidentally escaped from her so-called-home, the vixen had not taken a single kibble at all. Why? Well, first of all, who the hell would eat things like dirty vermin and things called trash!? Aiyana had remember catching glimpse of stray dogs repeatedly scavenging food in the trash can from the side of her house. It was sickening. Finally, the doe halted in front of the old water fountain. The gentle yet weak pouring of water comforted the dog as she reminisce the times where she would lie in front of the fire place with her master. Where was she? Where the hell was she!? If dogs were able to cry with sorrow like humans, Aiyana was definitely crying. The fae slowly entangled her paws in between her warm coat and laid her fluffy crown carefully on the hard cement ground. Uncontrollably, the female started to whimper rather loudly, she silently prayed to find anyone that would assist her on her journey back home. Oh but that'd never happen.

Mullian had been wandering the streets, not aimlessly, but didn't exactly have a place to rush to. The night had appealed to him, and so he had left, to perhaps find a vixen that had no home yet. He strode by the water fountain, and noticed a young female who was in considerable distress. He flashed his fangs at anyone who may be waiting in the shadows, and approached her carefully. A few steps away, Mullian stopped and observed the area. A war had broken out, after all, and time spent in reconnaissance was seldom wasted. When he was satisfied, the border collie lowered his head to look directly into her eyes. "G'day... I'm Mullian. Is something wrong?" He queried, and sat down to make sure other dogs could see this was currently his territory.

A dog, a dog's scent tickled her nose as the vixen remained low on the ground. However, that did not affect her at all, normally her instincts were to run away for that she was eternally scared of strays. Yet, she did not give a damn at all today, besides, the enigma would probably go off somewhere else. She's just a pitiful and pathetic house-dog who gotten lost, who cares? Much of her dismay, the lone stud had continued to approach her. Right now wasn't a good time to even form a conversation with her. she was depressed, frustrated and puzzled, and those are the traits that can make her in a horrible mood.
Soon, the canine's eyes seemed to be catching her lonely eyes. Uncontrollably, Aiyana immediately crotched in a submissive position and took a few steps back as her ears laid flat against her crown. The dog had greeted her by then, yet she couldn't seem to reply back. Her mouth remained open as no words escaped her thin maw. Without another second, Aiyana yelped with great fear. Her eyes only held terror.
"What do you want?!"

He noticed her distress almost instantly, being a dog, and lay down, showing his white belly. To any dog, even the humble house-pet, this was a sign that he would not attack and was trying to be friendly. After a few seconds of this, Mullian sat back up and sniffed at her nose curiously. "What do I want? Where can I begin?" he laughed finally, after being quiet this whole time. A worried look entered his eyes, and Mullian glanced at the vixen's smooth coat, her flawless claws and perfect figure. Was she an escaped house-pet? If so, she must be terribly hungry. The border collie was unsure what to do. Leave and find her food, and let a different, more vicious wild dog find her? Or stay and try to lend a bit of friendship? He had no idea, so decided to not make a decision. Yes, this is also a decision.

The stranger started to flash his moon-washed belly as he rolled over. If dogs had brows, her's would be raised. Aiyana looked at the stud with amusement of his action, recognizing this symbol to be friendship. However, that did not cure her fear for strays entirely. Aiyana then felt the cold aura of his nose engaging with hers as he seemed to continuously whiff her. This was entirely new for that she had never encountered another dog before, at least this close! Now, she attempted to present a braver impression towards the dog as he silently created a discussion. She was not scared! Or was she? The jet-black fae then returned to her original position and tilted her head as a question mark seemed to appear.
"What do I want? Where can I begin?"
The vixen then squeaked with a softer tone with reluctance still lingering in her voice.
"Well.. Maybe you could tell me where I am? Do you know the Gray family?"
Indeed she was stupid to ask a question like this. Yet little did she know that probably no residents of this city knew a "gray" at all.

He tilted his head to the side, and thought about that question. By family, she probably meant the human one that she had once lived in. Oh, man, how was he gonna break this to her? Mullian spoke hesitantly, not really wanting to say what was probably the truth, but realizing if he didn't she would probably search fruitlessly for them the rest of her life. "The family you were with, the... er... Grey family. If you have lost them, there is almost no possible way of finding them again. unless you have a steel chip in the back of your neck?" he said hopefully, combing her fur with his eyes. He really did want to help her, but the truth was out now. And he could just smell the enemies coming closer to the two chatting dogs.

A frown formed on the expressive face of she. Aiyana looked at the kind stranger with a confused face. Once again, another tilt to the opposite side the head went. Large eyes remained on the enigma. She then spoke softly and with a sense of insecurity.
"I... I don't think so... I've never went out before... This is my first time outside the house. And now I don't know my way back."
The last sentence, her voice started wavering as a pang of sadness hit her. She'll probably never see her family ever again! Hearing the words that the one before her said, definitely did not help her dejected mood. Instead, she'll have to live like the rest of them here. Yet, she did not know the ways to live in the streets. Ever since she was a pup, she had depended all on the family, her mother had disappeared shortly after she past the weaning age.

Big had had an interesting day. A face off with another male, involving defending a puppy that wasn't his, and invited a couple of dogs to live with him. The streets were no longer safe - Big himself would be intimidated if his appearance made him not one to be impulsively attacked. He was by far the largest dog in Sirius City, but he was far from being vicious or dangerous. Padded down the criss-crossing streets, he came across the place where homeless dogs came to find a home. It was a hubbub of conversation, but he made his way over to a very beautiful fae and a border collie male. Nodding his head to both of them, he was very much aware that the other male was an alpha, and therefore they could not be 'friends' as such... Unless... Already the plan was forming in the St Bernard cross' mind. An alliance? Take down the other packs? It was sneaky, not Big's strongest point, yet...
"Hello, Miss. Mullian." He turned to the female. "My name is Big, your's may be...?"
The female looked starved - Big could easily give her some of his next kill and not lose much. A leg or two would quickly restore her to full health - he guessed she was new to the world of the streets. Her and the male looked in the early starts of a conversation, but Big was less subtle than that.
"With all due respect, you look half-starved! Would you like me to catch you something?"
Big was charming. He could occasionally come across as being protective, but really he just wanted to help any and all that he could. He was a 'Light' by nature, and took his pride in the fact that an unfamiliar, lone female could come to his terra for protection and come to no harm.

Mullian looked very sad when his new friend looked depressed, and attempted to lick her muzzle. Basically a big hug for dogs. He had run away from home too, but he liked it out here. Way more fun out here than back in a stupid box. Another male appeared from the shadows, and Mullian stopped looking sad and stared at him attentively. His name was Big, for reasons known to most people, and he was an alpha dog. The border collie didn't trust other males. They would steal his prey and entice away his girls. To show his disapproval, Mullian flashed his steel teeth at the male menacingly. This was more a warning than a threat, but he wouldn't hesitate to attack if Big tried anything. "Big. Why are you here?" Mullian asked bluntly, sort of moving in front of the vixen to protect her in case Big decided to make her go with him.

Suddenly a large St. Bernard mix appeared out of nowhere. Compared to her medium height, he seemed like twice or maybe more of her size! Both astounded and scared, the lucid fae remained silent the stud approached them confidently, her henna orbs were the only one that focused on the Bernard mix quietly. As he seemed to spark a conversation between she and he, Aiyana had not realized the rules of the streets. That is that the men will always just want to claim more females. She reply with precariousness.
"Ai-"
However, she was interrupted by the stranger that she recognized as 'Mullian.' Noticing that Mullian was in a tense status did present her that this situation must be serious and she should not get involved with it. With that, Aiyana slowly crept behind Mullian as if he was the only one left in the world. Then silence only escaped her black lips.

Rolling his eyes at Mullian gently, he noted the aggressive pose the collie had taken. Nodding to the lady in acknowlegement that she was there, he decided to take the plunge not with the female, but rather, with Mullian, who seemed to have taken a protective stance, and Big didn't blame him. He wasn't out to claim all females and have as many children as he could in a short space of time - that just wasn't what Big was about. He recognised that ettiquette called for Big to back down and leave the pair, but he had business to speak with Mullian about. And pure business - one that could benefit them both. They both had terras and puppies to keep safe, did they not? No, he did not doubt females' abilities to protect themselves, for dogs were not built as humans or horses, and both sexes were equal in physical skill and strength, but puppies, even ones not sired by him or mothered by one of the females in his terra, he took upon himself to protect.
"Relax, Mullian. I am merely here for a business proposal - the fact that you are not alone is pure coincidence. It would not be wise to wander into your home for this..."
His tone was quite formal, but to be honest, it was how it was done around here. His tail wagged from sid to side once, but it was still in the air - a sign of amicable power. Which basically summed up Big, even if he wasn't an alpha...
"With this war going on, I feel it would be wise to have a few friends. So, I am proposing an alliance. I help you out if you are raided and vice versa. What do you say?"

Mullian bared his teeth very slightly. He, for some reason, liked the idea that he was protecting a girl, but didn't fluff himself up and act all moronic. That would take away what little reputation he already had. He supposed cutting in front of a girl wasn't very polite, but it was a male's duty to protect his charges, and he already felt like this girl was his responsibility. So Big wasn't here for her? Good. Mullian stood back up and side-stepped away from the frightened vixen so he could have a private talk with Big. Friends. Or bait. Aither way, Mullian liked the idea. He had no females to protect in his home yet, but it would be fun to protect someone else's, and when he did have some, Big could help merely by showing up on a battlefield. His overpowering presence was enough to make a great dane tremble. Mullian didn't tremble, but was very wary of this situation. "I agree. My territory will be in an alliance with yours. We will not attack you, and vice versa. We may even defend your home from time to time."
