The chocolate brown Kelpie padded silently down the street, not pausing to take part in petty bickering, but only interested in finding food to survive her another day. It was a hard life here, to be sure, but the city was her home! There was no kind of food she could not steal after a day's hard work. Fish, pie, vegetables, even beef if it was a special occasion. Yeah, her life was great. At least, it was better than the lives of those pitiful PETS! Living in a stuffy cage, being fed from a steel bowl, eating dreadfully boring stuff! She snorted. Disgusting. The hobos were already at it, asking for money and the like. She trotted past them contentedly, eyeing the path-walkers in a calculating way. It took a master to figure out who had food to give, and who could take a hike up a volcano for all she cared. The last ones were the people with no food, or worse yet who owned a CAT! Sarah snorted again at one of these such humans, and began to lope. She bounded to rest underneath a shady tree, and panted, waiting for a chance to steal something.

[shadow=limegreen,left,300] Artemis was content her patched skull resting in the shade of an oversized fig tree, twitching her fluffy tail and her fox like orbs half closed, she was calmed but her long ears twitched at the passing sounds of cars, the parks noise of a new day stirred up as people walked fluffs along behind them and sitting in the bench, some teenagers sneaked her away from the eyes to do what they did best. Lifting her skull up from the springs of grass the has flattened she pulled her tight muscles up wards and then stretching her long legs and shaking off some fee droplets of dew. A new sent passed her nose, looking her orbs alerted and all the sleep that lingered in the canines orbs has withered away to be replaced by intellect. Trotting forward her paws bouncing off the grass like springs and her tail waved as she moved through a hole in the bush and looking through the leaves the baker was putting a stall up outside saying gibberish, but Artemis knew that when he turned around food would be missing. Keeping to the cool shadows she moved effortlessly and while he turned around she grabbed a paper bag full of pies and croissants! Oh how they melted in your mouth! And somehow they remained Artemis of cheese, twitching her nose she moved and hearing a 'huh?' gasp from the dimwit of a human she was off. Paws clicking on the pavement the sun was out as she gripped onto the brown paper bag and skidding through a crack in the fence and puffing she ran into a park. Orbs searching the park she noticed a brown kelpie. Clogs turning in her skull she guessed she hadn't eaten. Sighing well she couldn't just leave her there? Ir could she? No she was a female and sometimes females got b.itchy about there food, well she was i guess you could say one of a kind. The oft blades of grass tumbled as she walked over to the dog and dropped the bag, food scattered over the grass and she picked up a croissant, oh how it melted in her mouth, chewing her looked to the dog and said bluntly "Are you hungry?" Artemis gestured to wards the food and then said "Take your pick, I wont bite" ha she had made a joke, well that would be history. She finished the croissant and sat down in front of the dog. Looking at her with orbs that was emotionless, you could call her a machine but she did have emotions, they where just locked away in a hole that was never to be opened, Unless of course it was important. She picked up a pie next though she normally hated the scuff she was starving and this was her best 'catch' of the day. The meat melted as she swallowed it bit by bit, lowering herself to wrap it in her husky paws she ate it then returned her eyes to the other femme, watching her.[/shadow]

Sarah eyed the female husky thing as she approached, and stood up quietly before beginning to walk off. When the dog had spoken to her, she was already halfway down the street, looking for any unwary prey. A hotdog salesman caught her eye. the kelpie trotted off, seeming, to the salesman, to give up on the warm meat. but no, Sarah was just hiding behind the cart itself, having executed a trick she called 'Trick or treat'. She had walked off, and walked behind a pack of tourists, then walked in the middle of them to behind the cart. She then leaped out of the group, quiet as a mouse, and snuck up behind the salesman. One of the very long links of sausage went missing, and was not noticed until it was too late to do anything about it. Sarah bounded off, chewing on the delicious meat, and began to saunter down the street again, proud of her accomplishment. The man had just discovered the loss, but could not see the dog in the large crowd and the traffic. She had just made a big enemy, but that did not matter. pretty much everyone around here saw her as an enemy. Sarah finally finished off the sausages, and strode to a fountain and had a long drink. Her ears flicked back and forth, making sure she was not being followed, and the kelpie streaked down a quiet alley, hiding in a solid wood box.

Arty frowned, unusual behavior for a dog, but watching and chewing on a cupcake she watched the events happen 'now if I was her I would cause a distraction, something not to big to break anything just to get the eyes the other way' but the dog was quick, quicker then Arty would of wanted to go, but she planned these things out, but none the less she got the food, finishing off the last of her food she pulled herself up wards, her fur brushed along in the wind as her orbs darted from one corner to another, the spinning into a jog she walked down the ally following the dog then when her paws dipped in a puddle she stopped and then looked to the dog with piercing orbs and she spoke, trying to persuade her to stay "That was quite a good 'move' some call it back there, did you think it out or just.." Artemis normally cut to the chase but this canine looked like she wasn't wanting to talk to her, ah ell such as life. Artys orbs moved as she felt chills going up her paws, moving from the puddle=le onto the cold cement, stepping over the cracks and she looked away from the dog. Her tongue roll out of her mouth, noting that she was in no harming sate, for a trained dog would be alert, of course she was alert in different ways. Her tail was feeling the vibrations in the ground as the humans rushed around doing there everyday jobs and her left ear was slightly ajar making sense because most dogs did this but she had made her own code, of many days of studying these creatures she could tell when she was under attack. She knew she was being quiet rude but he wanted to talk to the other femme first before she went telling her life story, for all she knew she walked right into a trap.
